A Beautiful Home; Heals Quickly
A homes health can be measured by how quick it heals from wounds that are inflicted upon it. Though they be from the world or from within.
The home that lives within the bounds of God, heals by the strength of God and is stronger afterwards for it. For is the skin stronger on the scar or the skin that has not known a wound?
It is a great sign, to grow from wounds, we will all have our disagreements within the home, some will have arguments and others out right rebellion towards one another.
Yet nearly all men and women can bring the worst of homes to a place of peace by the hand of God.
If not, a home will become as a shooting star, bright for but a moment and then dead to all things. Blotted out for all eternity.
Yet the home that stands upon the spiritual hilltop, is above the flood of this world. My dear brother; if you desire peace, within the walls of your home. Seek peace within your own soul.
Make peace with all those that you can, and how can this be done? Love the Lord and second; love your neighbor. Do this one other thing and it will bring great amounts of peace to your home. Do not associate with those who cause rioting.
If you and your wife do not heal quickly from the wounds of life, may you consider a few things.
One that heals, heals while at rest. One that heals, heals while they eat well spiritually.
The Beautiful Home; Heals From Wounds
It must be asked, “Why wounds do not heal within the walls of many homes?” There are many reasons for this; yet I will only cover a few. One; is that the wound is to large, A blow to the head is sometimes irreconcilable. I speak of the most hideous of things. (things that cannot even be written about.) Another reason is that in some cases one party just does not want to work things out. (Selfishness) And another is that both parties believe they are right. To the point of cutting off the head to save the thumb. (Pride)
Yet if one wants to work the sins out of their homes, they must know a few things about healing. The first thing one must know is that forgiveness alone will not heal a home. Also the ways of the world will fail miserably at bringing healing to the home.
The Beautiful Home; The Fullness Of The Crucifixion
On the cross, Christ asked the Father to forgive those who were killing Him; Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
This asking for forgiveness prepared the opening of the doors of heaven. And when a man ask for forgiveness of sins he must recognize that he is just showing the condition of his heart.
For every word that comes out of a mans mouth is from his heart. Yet every word from the heart may not be truth. If you have made the road from your heart full pot holes, do not expect your spouse to run towards your heart. And it is good if she does not in some cases, she may fall and you may fail again.
Forgiveness is like an arrow, it will stick deep within the heart of who receives it. Regardless if that forgiveness is trustworthy or not. Words are powerful, and words said without the spirit is as a tree that is without fruit.
Be slow to speak and quick to walk in some cases. The most powerful words I have ever heard spoken were words of silence.
Forgiveness will come at its proper time, For the heart lowers its draw bridge with its own soul.
When you ask for forgiveness, a few words are stronger than ten books. Forgiveness will be received in time, by anyone who really wants the home to heal.
The Beautiful Home; The Vale
Pain will come before one’s soul heals. We know this as truth, yet many are taught that pain can be alleviated by different means.
Yet faith is tested (Temptation) by the conditions set forth by this world. For did God test His own Son? Yet we are tested to see if our souls are straw or gold.
Christ set a pattern for us to live by; 1 Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
When Christ died, The vale in the temple gave way, and the vale over the eyes of men and within the ears of men was also opened In this way; that the gospel came to the whole world. Matthew 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
If Noah took the excuses of sin to sin away from men and he did. By being a righteous man in the midst of an evil world. How much more has Christ done so by committing no sin so that we may benefit by His grace through His pain.
Men insist that they desire to have a home that heals quickly, yet too often they will ask for forgiveness and follow it up with the world, instead of a godly walk. And this is what I speak of; A man will sin and ask for forgiveness and then take his wife out to eat, buy her flowers or a treat from the world.
He would be better off walking on hot coals barefooted in my opinion.
The wife of any home that is seeking godliness, just wants her husband for herself and needs him to pray and be an example in the home.
We have been taught that all things can be purchased, yet what is the price of purity? Who can purchase the things of God? And who can measure the price of trust. Yet If two people strive to work on restoring their home. They can through Christ and it will cost them.
They must for the sake of all that is at stake, become one. (I will write on oneness).
Take note Christ died on the cross (In the open) then the vale torn in the temple. Yes forgiveness starts from the heart, yet for it to tear open the heart of who is receiving those words, they must come from a man who has or is dying to those sins.
He must be seen and heard as suffering for his sins by those; whose souls he has trampled upon or by not standing for what is right in the sight of God for the holy things of God.
For it is one thing to trespass God’s laws, it is another to not stand for God.
The Beautiful Home; The Grave
He who heals, heals from the inside out. And if one desires to heal from wounds, they will be healed when they are alone. And with their loved ones. For ones soul can heal some what alone. But were there are two souls in marriage. They must die together to their sins together also.
The mind, heart and soul is a powerful thing. And to weld those souls back into one takes the power of the Spirit of God, and take my word for it. As a man thinks so is he. Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
The grave swallows every soul, and in doing so, brings life to every saint. For who dies to self, will live for the spirit. And whose home dies to this world will live for Christ.
For was not Christ buried? And was not his body not found? I tell you the truth, every man who bury’s his old man to a way of sin, will be resurrected in a newness of life. And every home that is buried to the ways of this world will be dead to it.
For it is written.” Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
If one has been crucified, then they are dead to that way of life. Yet if a loved one does not believe that a loved one has not died to a sin, then let the hands of time tell the truth. Yet if a man still stinks of death (sin) then he has not been risen by God. But remains in darkness. Not in the grave but in the ways of this world.
Be still and know that God is God. The grave is one of the quietest places on earth, No one wants to visit a dead man. Yet Christ will be close to the man who is willing to be dead to his sins. For Christ defeated the grave, and your home can be full of life and the light of Christ.
The Beautiful Home; The Resurrection
I believe that the greatest point that one can make about the Resurrection is this; That if something has been resurrected by the power of God, at one time it was dead.
Simply put, all things only die once on this earth.
If a sin persist to live on and on within the walls of a home, that sin has not died within the heart of one or more people within the home.
Therefore let the cross of Christ be the place all sin dies within the home. It is too often that the power of sin is underestimated. First and foremost it is the choice of sin that sends a man to hell. Secondly Sin destroys the soul and the flesh and thirdly sin is what holds men and women from being all they could be for our Lord.
Do not count the smallest of sins as nothing, For a home heals quickly, that offers no place for sin to hide. The smallest of jokes in the hands of Satan are powerful weapons. The husband and wife who hides the smallest of sins will never amount to the greater things in life that they were intended to.
Live in the light of Christ and sin will find no harbor your hearts or home.
The Beautiful Home; Heals, Because It Is Lifted By The Spirit
The home that is resurrected by the power of God, heals because it is lifted by God. Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The home that heals is the home that dies to sin.
I will speak a simple truth to you, “You can’t buy sin away” Yes, this is the truth. Yet many try this method. Wining and dinning, extra physical works and other things of this world. Yet sin will not persist to rule a home were there is the fruit of the spirit, Due to repentance.
As sorrowful as it sounds, transformation brings conflict.
When a child has growing pains he hurts, when a man has spiritual growing pains his heart, mind and soul ache.
Be patient my friend in Christ; if your house is in a sorrowful condition it can be transformed by the power of God.
A Beautiful Home; Transformation
Habits are hard to break and sinful routines are a difficult thing to overcome. Though we have the mightiest power in the universe as our friend, we still stumble to overcome sin. I state this again, men; Transformation brings pain. For if the purity of Christ was made sin for us, through pain (That is He suffered for sin, though he did no sin) Should we not suffer being transformed from our sinful state to a state of saintliness?
Let us be sincere with our own souls, will we die that sin may be stopped within our homes; Hebrews 12:4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
Most men don’t want change within the walls of their hearts or homes. And I believe this is due to; the lack of real leadership in religious circles today. Due to; Not commanding in love the truth of life as it is intended by God.
I will give you just one hint of what I am speaking about. Could you imagine what would happen to the average leader of a church. If he was to say, “Every mother should stay at home and take care of her children”. This is a simple truth, but would meet with the wrath of nearly every ear that heard such an out dated thing.
If you believe that a woman has the right to work, you are right. I am not speaking about rights, I am speaking about truth. And this is the truth, when a Mom drops off her child at day care the first time she will not have dry eyes.
That last statement is the truth of God and men know it. And as long as men live in the lie, there will not be the fullness of truth within the home.
So, if you want your home to be transformed by the power of God, you will have to let God into your home. And that alone is impossible without Christ.
The next post will be Transformation of a home
