LIBERTY OR BONDAGE

Liberty or bondage

Liberty or bondage, have these things in common, they are both decisions and desires. From deep within a man.

For any man to know how to be free from the bondage’s of this age (world) he must know where to start. As the pilot trust his instruments more than his own eyes, the man with a sinful lifestyle must trust what is not in his control. He must have faith in Jesus Christ.

In other words his whole being must be saturated with Christ. For when a man is controlled by Christ, He will no longer be controlled by the things of this world. For all men are either slaves to sin or to Christ.

Then how is it that so many men read the Holy Bible and can not in any manner escape from their lusting ways? There are many ways to read the Bible; symbolically, physically, spiritually, as a Calvinist, a Baptist, a Pentecostal, and to many more ways could be added to the list.

The man who reads the Bible in this manner (those mentioned above.) will in nearly all cases never be delivered from his ways of lusting. because he reads the bible through a microscope. He will pick out a few verses from the whole word of God and live by them. And the sad truth of the matter is this. He will in the end, side with sin instead of with purity.

This is how, he will be taught by his spiritual leaders, taught by his associates, and taught by what he does with his time.  This is how he will be taught by his spiritual leaders (in nearly all cases.) He will go to them and ask them, “Pastor ________ , I have a problem with lusting and really need help. The Pastor shares with the man, “We all have our sins, brother” or “The flesh is weak and the spirit is willing.” or “the Grace of Christ is sufficient.” Instead of giving his brother some milk to drink and some food to eat, he will give his brother another burden upon his shoulders. Some would say, “is not God’s grace sufficient?” I will let the man’s own ways judge the man, the man who says, “The drunk, fornicator, and drug addict are covered by Grace. Without quitting there sinful ways. Then can say the Luster is covered by grace. Yet he is still wrong and knows it. For one lifestyle of sin is as another. But who would believe the man that said to the drunk, “Gods grace will cover you.”

If you are a pastor or a leader within the walls of the “Common Church” and you can not give one of the brothers within the fold help from his lusting ways. Examine all that you do. Pray to God that you would clean your filthy hands, so you may be drawn closer to God.

Can a man who lust after women, teach the whole fold of sheep how to be married, in love, how to only have one God within their hearts, one women within their hearts and how to be single eyed. For no man measures up to the bar of God, that is what Grace is for. But grace is not for the man who proclaims to be a saint but has no intention of putting away his lusting lifestyle.

Let us look at the luster and his associates;they are in no better spiritual shape than he is in or they are in a worse place. The old saying rings sound, “How do you keep a crab in a pot, throw another one in with it. Sin will always make more sin, until it is rebuked by a man with godly morals. Associates in to many cases watch to much sin together, talk about to much sin and do nothing to put a stop to the sinful lifestyles of their brothers of Christ. The lack of sound character is all to rampant in man today. 1 Corinthians 15:33  Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

What is character? it is what a person does when they are all alone. Their is nothing more valuable to a human being than time, ask any person over 90. Yet when a man that reads his Bible with a microscope does with his time is directly related to his spiritual condition.

His spiritual condition is as sharp as a tack, in certain picked verses. Yet when it comes to putting purity into action in his life, he can not muster the strength to lift his hands to praise, worship or pray. Why is this, because his flesh is strong, his beliefs are strong and in most cases he has surrounded himself with men who believe just like him.

This has caused him to believe that good is evil and evil is good when it comes to the sinful lifestyle of committing adultery with his heart (lusting with his eye’s.) I will rest my case, with this statement; It is the truth in the church circles of this age, when it comes to lusting that men get a “pass.” Lusting is the only sinful lifestyle in church circles that gets the “its o.k” from the top to the bottom of the church hierarchy. Though homosexuality is now catching up quickly to lusting and the two are connected.Yet this man knows all to well that he is not right with God. His conscience tells him so.  Romans 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

The man that is free from lusting after women knows there is another way to read the Bible, By the spirit. There is no better way than to read the word of God, than to be in the mind of Christ.

When a man reads the Bible by the spirit, by praying before he reads he will see what God wants him to see, not what he wants to see or men want him to see. He will read the Bible not looking through a microscope but through a telescope. He won’t see forty stars in the night sky he will see what he can not count. And God will give him what he can count.

He will not find excuses for a sinful lifestyle in the Bible, he will be drawn to the holy things in the Bible, and taught to flee from the unholy things of this world. Though it be his church of many years and his associates, if God shows him they are drawn towards the ways of sin God will draw him out from them. For He is a jealous God. His time will be used for the the Kingdom of God, through obedience and sacrifice.  Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

He will have no other Gods before him, he will have no other idols within his soul, heart or mind. he will use his strength to love God, his wife and children. He will break the jaws of men as Job did in the gates. He will be slow to judge, yet when he does, he will judge righteously. He will rebuke and men will love him or hate him. Yet he will be a comfort to the poor, he will give to the needy and he will have empathy on the lost.

God will give to the man who reads the Bible by the spirit, peace that surpasses all understanding. He will give him a blameless mind and a clear conscience.

If you desire the pure things that come from above, then set your eyes upon the things that are from above not the things that are from below. Be apprehended by the ways of Christ, through the Holy Spirit. Be drawn to God and away from this world.

PART II

LIBERTY OR  BONDAGE FROM LUST

There are two types of men, when it comes to following Christ. One walks in liberty and the other desperately needs the first one, so it may be joined into the army of Christ. So that all men who proclaim the faith that is given by Christ may believe in the power of God to defeat the sinful ways of lust.

Until this is done, Satan, the world and the false religions will have the upper hand. For Satan is the father of this world and this world with its false religion is united in all things against Christ.

There were two men and the one man said, “I am free by the power of God, from lust.”

The other then said, “the flesh can not be saved.” He then went on, “We all have our sins, and did you not know, “That we are not perfect”

Then the first man said, “You, are right, the flesh must be crucified.” Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. KJV. The first man continued, When a man puts on Christ he no longer serves the flesh, therefore the lust of the flesh is dead and Christ is with us in all things. Rom 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. KJV.

The first man shared, “listen my beloved friend, have ears to hear what I say.” Those who are in Christ are free from the ways of the flesh. Gal 5:24-25 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. KJV.

The first man continued, “We strive for perfection, though we sin as saints, we don’t live the lifestyle of a sinner who lust.” My friend, all men sin, I prove that when I hit my finger with a hammer. Yet as children of God, we do not live in any lifestyle of sin for all our lives. for the same man who would say to the homosexual, “Don’t repent of your way of living, or hell waits you.” Or would say the drunk needs not to quite drinking, he is fine as he is. Then lies, if he thinks that, if he lust all his days, all is well.

The second man said, “God’s grace is sufficient.” And the first man said, “Grace is for sinners who want to be saved and for saints who desire to stay on the narrow path.” Not for those who sin and have no desire to walk in the statutes of God. For should we sin more that we receive more grace? God forbid! Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, thatgrace may abound?

The second man then said to the first man, “legalism is no way to witness to the world.” And the first man answered him, “Do not mistake obedience for legalism, and as for witnessing, I believe that the world has witnessed well to the church, and it is time that the body of Christ make no excuses for its sinful ways.”

The second man said, “the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.” The first man replied, the flesh is strong when it lust after women of this world. That verse is for the things that need to be done for the kingdom of God, not for an excuse for sin. You will see this when you pray, worship and read your Bible to be free from sin, The spirit will be willing and the flesh will be weak.

The second man said, “help me, you are strong and I am weak.” The first man said, all things are possible through Christ, who strengthens us. For He is Strong, so let us be in Christ not the flesh.
