Like Minded Brother’s In Christ
This page has been birthed by a desire to put believers together with other believers of the same mind. 1 Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
This is what is desired of any who want to be a part of the invisible body of Christ. That they have made an open confession of Christ being their Lord by faith and establishing that faith by works.
James 2:14-26 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? …
It should be on every believers conscience, that they should share what they have, with those who do not have, to give prayers, letters, phone calls, time, money, and words of encouragement to the souls of men and women.
That love should abound, so that peace should be the goal of all the brethren. That repentance by faith with good works means a man or women is at liberty with Christ again.
We believe that loving our children or fellow believers means that we should not let them live as the world. Courting at the proper age, the first kiss is at the wedding alter and innocence is taught above knowledge.
We hold fast to the ways of God, not participating with the ways of the ungodly, by conviction of the Holy Spirit. Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
We accept all as they are in Christ, but none should stay as they are in Christ, for all should be striving to the perfection of the father. Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
We as a family do these things, in love. teach our children the Bible, teach them hymns and above all things teach them the ways of the Lord by example. Also we love that the children are taught at the home (home-schooled.) That the husband, wife and children be dressed pleasing to our Lord. That the customs of this world be avoided, such as sports, movies, (there are some good documentaries), television and the entertainments of this world. And such things as the prophets, apostles, Christ and the early church would not participate in unto death.
One of the greatest reasons we are putting this page on this site is that like-minded believers can be encouraged to stay on the narrow path of life and live the circumcised life.
We also want what is best for our children, and what more is important than they be among those who love the Lord, and love the simple ways of Christ. We also want to prepare our children for their future. To meet godly friends, to correspond with other children who are seeking the ways of God with their parents. And to prepare for the ways of marriage. For what better way to help our young children become cross bearers for Christ than to have them have a devoted wife or husband who is carrying the cross of Christ also.
If you have read this and it has moved you some what within your inner-man. Pray and seek the presence of God. I as a man am convicted by God, that most men want what is better for their families through Jesus Christ. Yet they do not know where to turn, in the times we live in. Be comforted, there are brothers and sisters in the Lord who desire the pure life that Christ has to offer along with the liberty that is in Christ.
